Onward, to Jersey!

Mathilda and I went on a miniature excursion to Edgewater to get groceries (they're much cheaper, and Mathilda haz car). Somehow, and I can't recall EVER saying this, the mapquest directions we had led us to our destination flawlessly! We took it as an omen that our party would be a great success.

The theater in the background is the United Palace. Now a church led by the incomparable Rev. Ike, it was originally built in the 30s, as part of Loew's landmark theaters project. It fell into disrepair a while back, but now it hosts concerts, in addition to Sunday mass.
